Plastic card feed software

Large manufacturers of quality plastic card punching systems and automated feed technology, have announced the introduction of super-simplified feed software, which enables operators - with minimal training - to significantly decrease set up time in plastic card punching operations.

This type of simplified feed software features graphical instructions that enable less skilled operators to become fully trained within one day. It is specifically geared for the growing number of plastic card manufacturers that seek to use lower cost labour in order to drive production costs down in an increasingly competitive plastic card market.

The new software works both with 3 axis registration feeds, and is ideal for wide format 6-8-12-up plastic card punchinhg systems and is recommend for material between 225mm (9") to 380mm (15") wide.

Any automatic registration feeds that use the new software provide three axis registration (X, Y and Rotation) within +/- 0.1mm at feed rates up to 760mm (30") per second and up to 180 press strokes per minute. It efficiently interfaces with mechanical, air clutch or hydraulic presses for a wide range of material applications including metal, paper, and plastic card material with gloss, matte or embossed finishes.
